Primegold Steel & Power to set up 20 MW solar project in Tamil Nadu

Signegold International has been re -showed as Primeegold Steel & Power for its new adventure to produce green steel.

The company plans to establish a 20 MW solar energy plant in Ariyalur in Tamil Nadu. The clean energy generated will be used directly for captive purposes.

Signegold Steel & Power already has a presence in the wind energy sector, complemented by long -term renewable energy contracts.

The company has already assured the support of land and financial necessary of ₹ 65 million rupees of the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency for the project. The work in this project in early April.

The company’s billing has increased to ₹ 800 million rupees the last fiscal year since ₹ 280 million rupees in fiscal year 2010,

The growth was reinforced by a strategic integration back in 2020, with the implementation of a steel and diversification fusion oven in the storage sector, all based on internal accumulations.

Achin Aggarwal, managing director, Primagold Steel & Power said that the raid in green energy, starting with a captive solar energy plant, is a natural evolution for the company.

“Our goal is to produce that it is not only of the highest quality, but also the environmental head, contributing to a greener future for all,” he said.
