All my goal this summer is to make less (and my list of summer wishes 2024 reflects this). I say this every year, then quickly find a way to fill my time. June was busier, what it was, so I’m looking at how and why he became like this when he had all the intention of having more time for Bordom.
These years are golden with my children of six and seven years (son to have eight) and I because be present, do ferwer and teach them that is fine cool. It is a tougher bone than I expected. I know it is important and timely, because it is such a unique period of their lives. I don’t want to lose any of the worldly and everyday things that are so intrinsically linked to summer.
The inconvenience and the need to decelerate
Last weekend, we had the opportunity not to do anything on Fridays and Saturday nights. I could feel that I wanted to fill the space by finding someone to hang out or do something to distract Myelf from being at home with my family. I could see my children with the itching to do the same. Insead, we adjust for some rainy day movies like Hook and Free WillyAnd I was curious why I wanted to fill my right time although I was absolutely exhausted. I still don’t have the exact answer. All I know is to decelerate is inherently uncomfortable if it has no battery (even for some who call for temelves an introvert), and it takes time to reach the other side of this discomfort.
And so, my summer desire list is small. I will enter without expectations to do much, I know that choosing for not participating in stacking schedules is good for everyone in my family, even if sometimes I don’t feel it. I hope it produces more time for the union, times that could not be able to photo albums, but to leave an imprint in all our hearts.
