The surprise of southern California, May Heat Wave will break on Saturday night, with colder temperatures expected on Mother’s Day and fog and even drizzle arriving at the beginning of next week, according to the National Meteorological Service.
A rapid increase in temperatures reached the region on Friday after a section of gray days, with maximum records in Woodland hills of 102 degrees and bubane at 98 degrees. Saturday will be another burner, and more possible records in the San Fernando Valley and the coastal temperatures that reach the 80s.
But it is likely that the heat wave ends as fast as it began, with the temperatures that are expected to be approximately 5 cooler degrees for Mother’s Day. It is forecast that Sunday’s temperatures will be in the 80s through the lip, in the 90s in the valley, and in the mid -70s on the beaches, said NWS meteorologist Mike Wofford.
“This is typically a quite low -impact climate season.
It is expected that Monday will be much cooler as the fog arrives and the return of the breeze, with temperatures lower than the average in the 60s and mid -70s. For Tuesday, the gray days are expected to return, and the drizzles and the light rain are possible, Wofford said.
