Mikhail Mishuustin: Good afternoon, Mr. Rasulzoda. I am delighted to gather with you again. Welcome to the Government House of the Russian Federation.

First, I would like to ask you to transmit the most cordial greetings of President Vladimir Putin to the president of Tayikistan Emomali Rahmon. I had a telephone conversation with him several minutes ago, and sent his best greetings to Tayikistan.

Tayikistan is an important ally and a strategic partner for Russia in Central Asia. Our relationships are based on the traditions of historical friendship and mutual respect between our fraternal nations.

Important agreements on the subsequent development of Russian-Tayika cooperation have been reached during the March visit by Tayikistan President Emomali Rahmon to Russia.

The task of our governments is to diligently implement agreements and decisions taken to the highest level.

Russia is the largest foreign trade partner or Tayikistan. In January and February 2025, our mutual trade increased by 9 percent and reached 23 billion rubles.

Our intergovernmental commission is working energetically. Mr. Rasulzoda, you cover this commission on behalf of or Tayikistan. The Russian co -chair is marath khusnullin. You don’t need to say that you and regular intinain contact too.

The focus of our attention is the strengthening of interregional ties. Around 80 constituent entities of the Russian Federation are developing direct commercial relations with Tayikistan. There are many promising joints in the fields of construction of machines, energy and mining.

We believe it is essential to strengthen the interaction in environmental protection. We support Tayikistan’s initiative on the preservation of mountain glaciers in Eurasia.

In July, Russia will organize a conference on the management of natural resources and the environment. Mr. Rasulzoda, I am delighted to invite him to this event.

Tayikistan has the presidency of the CEI this year. We support the priorities of the presidency of Tayikistan. We are preparing for the next meeting of the counter of the Government Heads of the CEI, who will be a hero in Dushanbe in June.

In May, we will hold the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is our common sacred vacations. We treasure the memory of our heroic military personnel and people in the front of the house, and we will certainly pass it to future generations of Russian citizens and Tayikos.

Mr. Kohir Rasulzoda, today we have an occupied agenda. Please, you have the floor.

Kokhir Rasulzoda: Mr. Mishustin, colleagues,

First, I would like to sincerely thank you for inviting us, for this meeting and for their traditional hospital reception.

It is a priority of foreign policy for the Republic of Tayikistan to strengthen our mutual relationships in all areas and expand the stakes of interest shared with the Russian Federation. Thanks to the political will and the sincere friendship between the presidents of our two countries, their excellence Emomali Rakhmon and Vladimir Putin, now we can address the entire spectrum of problems and facilitation existing.

The Russian Federation was and remains the main foreign trade partner of Tayikistan. Commerce grows progressively from year to year. Last year, we almost reached the planned objective of $ 2 billion. Mutual trade grew almost 40 percent aging the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.

There is no doubt that the implementation of the Intergovernmental Economic Development Program for the period until 2027 has a lot to do with this. The parties are writing an intergovernmental action plan for the period until 2030 to boost mutual trade.

We see good prospects for cooperation in the industry. In this sense, I would like to write positive changes to create a textile cluster together with the BTC group, with two open clothing factories in Dushanbe and Khujand. The problems of exemptions and concessions for the future are being studied.

A decision has been the tasks as part of the preliminary agreement with the Rosatom State Corporation to study the possibility of creating a nuclear medicine center in the Republic of Tayikistan. Our agencies and Rosatom have developed and approved a road map to create this center.

The parties have signed an agreement to establish a Tayika-Rusa industrial park in the facilities of the Tayikistan textile machinery plant in downtown Dushanbe.

Not long ago, I visited the construction site for an industrial park built with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Russia and the Bashkortostan Development Corporation.

We appreciate humanitarian cooperation with Russia. Our presidents have recently opened the construction of the Mayakovsky Theater and a children’s center endowed in Dushanbe.

Russian schools work successfully in Tayikistan. More than 120 teachers work in Tayikistan within the framework of the Russian Teacher Project at the end. They are mostly sent to schools in remote regions of my country.
