Suspects flee on electric scooter after shooting in Lincoln Heights

A man sitting in a car was shot and injured early Saturday morning in Lincoln Heights after he approached two who fled in an electric scooter, police said.

The victim, identified as a 48 -year -old man, was tasks by ambulance to a nearby hospital where it was reported that it was stable, said spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department, Menman said. The shooting was reported around 1:15 am

According to the researchers, two men approached the victim while sitting in their car near Humbolt Street and Avenue 23 in Lincoln Heights, adjacent to interest 5.

The men had an argument, said Eisenman. “Then he suspected that two produced a firearm and delivered it to suspect one, who shot multiple shots.”

After the shooting, the gunman and his partner fled in an electric scooter in an unknown director, Eisenman said. The researchers did not report whether the victim was driving the car or parked at the time of the shooting.
