CAI has projected cotton imports for the 2024-25 season with 33 Lakh Fales, 17.80 Lakh bales higher than last year. Exports for the season are estimated at 15 Lakh bundles, below the last 28.36 Lakh Fardos. Around 10 Lakh bundles were sent in the first seven months until the end of April.
The forward transportation for the 2025-26 season are estimated at 32.54 Lakh bundles, marginally above the previous years 30.19 Lakh Fardos.
