Airline Major Indigo has signed a new agreement with NORSE Atlantic Airways to boost its wide body fleet for the future expansion of its long distance international network.
According to the agreement, Indigo will moisten the lease (aircraft with crew) two additional Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Previously, Indigo had four Boeing 787-9 leased by vapor 787-9 of Atlantic Airways Nordic, or that has resorted to one.
The first of these leased planes has been deployed on the Delhi -Bangkok route, while the three remuneants are expected to arrive in the second half of 2025.
It is expected that the fifth and sixth plane under this association will begin operations in early 2026, serving long distance routes outside India, the airline said.
The initial term of the lease is six months, said Indigo, extendable up to 18 months and subject to regulatory approvals.

Meanwhile, without flinching for Pakistan’s decision to close his airspace, Indigo will process with his European expansion plan, with ticket reservations for his new flights to Amsterdam and Manchester that is expected to open soon.
Consequently, the low -cost carrier plans to operate the initial thesis services of a key Indian city to these prominent European destinations as part of its expanding international network.
