The actions of Eternal Energy Ltd., Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Hul), Asian Paints Ltd., Itc Ltd. and Nestlé India Ltd. were among the main winners on Friday, while the stocks of IT and main telecommunications weighed in the indices. Bharti Airtel Ltd., HCl Technologies Ltd., State Bank of India, Infosys Ltd. and Tech Mahindra Ltd. emerged as the main losers.
The BSE Sensex decreased 200.15 points or 0.24 percent to close to 82.330.59, while the NSFTy 50 NSE fell 42.30 points or 0.17 percent to establish itself at 25,019.80. The session remained in rank after Thorsday’s acute rally, with a earning reserve seen in heavyweight, individually from the technological space.
Upper gaatores
Eternal energy led the winners, increasing 1.38 percent to ₹ 245.75.
Hindustan Unilever added 1.10 percent to end ₹ 2,381.00, backed by a sustained interest in FMCG names.
Asian paintings won 0.98 percent to ₹ 2,353.15, while ITC exceeded 0.73 percent to ₹ 435.60.
Nestlé India closed 0.52 percent higher than ₹ 2,410.55.
The main losers
Bharti Airtel was the worst performance of the day, falling 2.81 percent to ₹ 1,814.35.
HCl technologies fell 2.14 percent to ₹ 1,659.75, followed by SBI that gave 1.96 percent to ₹ 791.85.
Infosys threw 1.46 percent at ₹ 1,589.75, while Tech Mahindra decreased 0.79 percent to ₹ 1,615.15.
Despite the moderate performance of the reference indices, the markets in general were firm. The Nifty Midcap 100 increased 0.94 percent to 57,060.50, while the Nifty Next 50 jumped 1.29 percent to 67,078.95. The amplitude of the market in the EEB remembered positive, with 2,607 actions progressing and 1,380 decreasing. A total of 83 shares reached the maximum of 52 weeks to parade the day.
