Reliance Now Energies Private Limited, a Reliance Power Limited subsidiary, has assured the highest assignment in the last renewable energy tender of SJVN, the company announced Monday. The company won 350 MW of solar generation capacity together with 175 MW/700 MWh or capacity of the battery energy storage system (Bess) through a competitive bidding process.

Reliance Power Limited shares were quoted to ₹ 42.92 in ₹ 4.27 or 11.05 percent in the NSE today at 10.25 am

The project was granted to an INR 3.33/KWh rate set for 25 years, which makes it one of the integrated solar storage projects of the highest price in India. The tender of the 19 entities particle and was excessively signed for more than four times.

At the end, the installation will add 600 MWP of photovoltaic solar capacity and 700 MWh of energy storage to the Power Reliance portfolio. This last victory positions the power of trust as the largest player in India in the integrated solar energy segment + Bess, with a total clean energy pipe or a solar capacity of 2.5 GWP and approximately 2.5 GWHR Bess.

The project requires a minimum daily discharge window of four hours to allow the delivery of maximum insured energy to the status distribution services.

This development follows the recent 25 -year energy purchasing agreement of Reliance Power with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for what it describes as the largest integrated solar project and beals in Asia, with 930 MW of solar capacity combined with 465 MW/1860 MWh Bess, which represents an investment of up to 10,000 Crore.

Reliance Power currently operates a portfolio or 5,305 megawatts, including the Sasan Energy Plant of 3960 MW.
