Passengers go after an Air India flight

Two flights from the Air India group found technical problems on Monday, forcing them to return to their exit destinations.

In the first incident, an Air India Express Boeing 737-8 plane that operates a flight from Delhi to Ranchi returned to Delhi shortly after takeoff.

The pilot noticed a technical problem subject and decided to return around 4:25 pm

After inspections and authorization, the plane resumed the scheduled operations.

“One of our flights returned to Delhi after taking off due to a suspicious technical problem. Subsequent inspections and authorization, the aircraft continued scheduled operations. We regret the inconvenience,” said an Air India Express spokesman.

In a separate incident, an Air India Boeing 787 AI 315 Air Air Air from Hong Kong to Delhi returned to Hong Kong due to a technical problem.

The plane landed safely at Hong Kong International Airport at 1:17 pm

The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department handled the situation in accordance with the established procedures and asked Air India to present a report.

The plane, which had been inspected before the flight, was considered safe, but the pilot chose to return to Hong Kong as a precautionary measure.

Air India is providing alternative arrangements to fly passengers to Delhi at the beginning and offers the necessary assistance to the mini disigency.

The airline has ensured that security remains its highest priority.

“Ai315 operated from Hong Kong to Delhi on June 16, 2025, the air retired to Hong Kong shortly after taking off due to a technical problem. The flight landed safely in Hong Kong and is being checks of an issue.

“The alternative arrangements have planned the leg for the flyers to their destination of Delhi as soon as possible. We are providing all the necessary assistance to passengers to minimize the incidentality caused by this impossible interruption.”
