I have a shameful confession. Summer Friday’s first makeup product does few that can dyes: sacrifice real coverage. It rises soft and sinks wonderfully, leaving my skin bright and hydrated, thanks to a dose of hyaluronic and escualano acid. I am so addicted to its wet effect; I mix it with my Armani Foundation when I look for more coverage (there is more skin dye than Armani if I am honest).
Final thought: It’s perfect. The only thing that could do better would be if there was SPF incorporated, but that is just me being greedy.
Jet Lay Mask + Moisturizer
As much as I enjoyed summer Friday products, my general note tended to be my skin I longed for more hydration. Hero product of summer Friday, Jet Lag’s mask literally saves the day. It is what ThickCombining the lightweight sensation of the brand with extreme hydration (which can only assume that it is a kind of patented magic trick).
The formula has been rebuilt to be free of fragrances, which makes it perfect for sensitive skin. And while the mask (armed with niacinamide, glycerin and hyaluronic acid) leaves the white tube as toothpaste, continues completely clear, which makes it perfect for an ultra-moisturizing primer.
Final thought: Lay Jet mask may seem a bit pale, but its versatility and power help justify the cost. (Note: The “moisturizing mini” of 28 grams makes this hero product more affordable and perfect for the march).
