The Israeli army announced the early stages of an operation intensified in Gaza aimed at defeating Hamas, with rescuers in the besieged Palestinian territory that reports 10 dead on Saturday on fresh strikes.
The intensified campaign occurred when the humanitarian situation in Gaza continued to get worse in an Israeli aid block, and one of the durable hospitals of the territory warned that it could no longer treat the serialias and facilities of patients with dome.
The army announced in a position that it had the “initial internships” of the new offensive, part of “the expansion of the battle in the Gaza Strip, with the aim of achieving all the objectives of the war, including the launch of the kidnapped and the defeat of Hamas”.
He said he had “launched extensive strikes and transferred forces to confiscate the control of areas within the Gaza Strip.”
Gaza’s Civil Defense spokesman, Mahmud Bassal, told AFP that 10 bodies had been taken to hospitals after attacks on Saturday morning.
Three people died and four injured in drone strikes east of the southern city of Khan Yunis, he said, while three others were killed and several injured in the bombing of a house in Jabalia, in the north.
An attack on a northwest department or Khan Yunis killed three people, he added, while a person was killed and five wounds, “including a girl, a young woman and a pregnant woman”, in a strike in a store west of the same city.
The Civil Defense Agency said Israeli attacks had killed at least 100 people the previous day.
Israel resumed his offensive in Gaza on March 18, ending a two -month truce in his war against Hamas caused by the group’s attack in October 2023.
The return to the fight has generated an international condemnation, with the UN Human Rights Chief on Friday denouncing the renewed attacks and what he described as an apparent impulse to permanently displace the Palestinian inhabitants of Gaza.

“This last flood of bombs … and the denial of humanitarian assistance emphasizes that it seems to be an impulse for a permanent demographic change in Gaza that defies international law and is equivalent to ethnic cleaning,” Volker Turid in a statement.
The main Israeli campaign group that represents the families of the hostages said that by extending the fight, Netanyahu lacked a “historical opportunity” to return their loved ones through diplomacy.
Hamas demanded on Friday to the press of the United States Israel to lift the blockade of help in exchange for a hostage from the United States and Israel recently launched by the group.

“The operating rooms and intensive care units are completely full and we cannot receive more critical cases,” he said, adding that there was “a serious shortage of blood units, medical and therapeutic supplies and surgical procedures.”
The president of the United States, Donald Trump, acknowledged on Friday that “many people are looking.”
“We are looking at Gaza. And we are going to take care of those tasks,” Trump told reporters in Abu Dhabi, on a regional tour that excluded Ally Israel’s ally.
The Arab League will meet in Baghdad on Saturday to discuss regional crises, and it is expected that Gaza will have an outstanding place on the agenda.
The Hamas attack of October 7, 2023 results in the death of 1,218 people on the Israeli side, mostly civilians, according to an AFP account based on official figures.
Of the 251 hostages that lasted the attack, 57 remain in Gaza, including 34 the military, according to the military, are dead.
