Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that Israel “will take control” of all Gaza, since the military pressed a recently intensive campaign in the territory devastated by war.
After Israel announced that it would leave a limited aid to Gaza, the head of the World Health Organization issued a marked warning about the humanitarian crisis in the territory, saying that “two million people are looking at.”
In the field, the Israeli army issued a call for evacuation to the Gazans in the southern city of Khan Yunis and the nearby areas ahead of what he described as an “unprecedented attack.”
The call occurred after the army announced that “extensive land operations” had begun in an extended offensive against Hamas, and after air attacks that rescuers said they killed at least 22 people on Monday.
“The fight is intense and we are progressing. We will take control of the entire territory of the strip,” said Netanyahu published in Telegram.
Israel earlier this month approved the plans for the offensive currently underway and said it was aimed at the “conquest” of Gaza and the displacement of its people.
“We will not give up. But for success, we must act in a way that cannot be stopped,” said Netanyahu.
Israel has been under increasing pressure, even from the Key Backer, the United States, to raise a total block that imposed Gaza more than two months ago.
“We should not let the population (or Gaza) sink into the famine, both for practical and diplomatic reasons,” said Netanyahu, added that even friends from Israel would not tolerate “images of mass starvation.”

Israel said that his blockade since March 2 aimed to force Hamas concessions, but UN agencies have warned about the critical shortage of food, clean water, fuel and medicines.
“Two million people are looking” while “food tonnes are blocked on the border, just a few minutes away,” said Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
“The risk of famine in Gaza is increasing with the deliberate retention of humanitarian aid.”
Last week, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, acknowledged that “many people are looking,” and added that “we are going to take care of those tasks.”
The Minister of National Security of the Extrem Right of Israel, Itamar Ben Gvir, argued against any resumption of assistance, saying in X: “The Prime Minister, our hostages do not receive humanitarian aid.”
But the Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, also of the extreme right, defended the decision to allow a “minimum” of help, and would be allowed that none would reach Hamas.
“This will allow civilians to eat and our friends in the world continue giving us diplomatic protection,” he said.
