Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned Israel’s wave in Iran, said Kremlin on Friday, after separate telephone calls with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Iranian President Masoud Peeshkian.
Putin “emphasized that Russia condemns Israel’s actions, which violate the UN letter and law,” said the Kremlin in a statement.
Hey also told Netanyahu or his “preparation to provide mediation services to avoid a greater climbing of tensions.”
The Kremlin added that Russia was committed to “resolving the current situation, which is full of the most disastrous consequences for the entire region.”
The earliest Friday, Russia had condemned Israeli attacks on the ally of Moscow Iran.
“Not caused military attacks against a UN Member State, its citizens, peaceful cities and nuclear energy infrastructure are categorically implacable,” said the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The international community cannot afford to turn up such acts of aggression, which threaten peace and under regional and global security,” the ministry said in a statement.
“What makes the situation aspecy cynical is that the Israeli thesis attacks Tok Place in the middle of a session of the Board of Governors of the OIEA and just before another round of indirect conversations between the United States and the United States,” he added.
