The Ukraine Military Intelligence Agency said on Sunday that Russia planned to carry out a “training and combat” launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) to intimidate Ukraine and the West.
In a statement published on Telegram, the Ukraine Gur Intelligence Agency said Russia will celebrate a launch during the night from the central region of Sverdlovsk. He added that the flight range for the missile was more than 10,000 kilometers (6,200 miles).
“To press demons and intimidate Ukraine, and also the EU member states and NATO, the aggressor of Russia intends to make a launch of ‘training and combat’ of the intercontinental ballistic missile RS-24 from the Yars Complex,” said the GUR in statement.
Russia has not commented on the report.
Russia does not answer questions about your plans to test missiles with nuclear capacity, whose details classify as a military secret, although it issues statements after such releases.
More than three years after the large -scale invasion of Russia, Ukraine is under great pressure, since Russia seeks first -line profits in eastern Ukraine, and diplomatic efforts to end war have not given results.
