Echos of Genocide: The Price of Our Indifference

And from the Washington iron seat, the United States government, the sacred arm of destruction, pays for it. We are the ones who feed the beast: we who put together the machine devours death, who write the checks in silence, which remain as the walls of the devastation increase, as the screams dared. What is this? What do we have, this country of freedom, we have to do with that? Since 2001, the United States has gotten into $ 100 billion in the money of the Israel war chest for air attacks, drones, military operations that crush civilians, crush the bones of a town. More than 20,000 dead Palestinians: those children, those futures, smiled in their homes, in the streets, in the rubble of their world. A million homeless people displaced in a storm of fire and concrete. This is not a “conflict”, it is the deletion of an entire existence. A town turned to dust.
