The most important thing, surely, when choosing a Star projector is how well it is projected on its walls and roof. The Fliti Galaxy projector nails it, with a great range to cover most of a standard size bedroom. Nebula projections are also impressive, transporting it to a magical world. The only thing that disappoints this projector is the quality of cheap construction and its green laser stars. With a more reflective design, this could be one of the best star projectors in the market.
However, which costs around $ 40 (or less, it is often for sale), it still sacrifices a fairly decent value, particularly if you do not care about scientific precision. This is not a real representation of the night sky, but it will give some of the best patterns of Nebulas and Aurora type that we have seen in a budget stars projector.
Our complete review of the Fliti Galaxy projector below gives you the pros and cons of this Star projector, helping you decide if it is suitable for you.
Review of the FLITI GALAXY projector: design
- Cheap and unattractive construction
- Stand is separated from the projector unit
- Speaker at the bottom of the projector
The design of the Fliti Galaxy projector is probably our less favorite thing of the unit. It is not attractive, it seems cheap, which is a shame because it is a very good projector. The unit is made of black plastic in a little inspiring way; There is nothing premium in its appearance.
Worse is the fact that the stand is separated from the real unit of the projector. The projector simply rests at the top, and although it is sure, it could be easily eliminated.
The Fliti Galaxy projector is able to play music and sounds through Bluetooth, but the speaker is at the bottom of the projector, which stifles volume and quality a bit. It looks like a strange choice, since the unit seems to be large enough to house a speaker on its side.
FLITI GALAXY PROJECTOR review: performance
- Beautiful projections
- Impressive scope
- Disappointing Bluetooth speaker
The projections offered by the Fliti Galaxy projector are some of the best we have seen in a budget model. They are vibrant, sharp and beautiful. The most important thing is that it has a surprisingly good scope, capable of covering the roof of our room, only from one side of the room. That is thanks in part to the dome design of the projector, which helps to achieve a broader area.
There are many settings available in the projector, all which can be accessed through the remote control included. You can travel the colors, adjust the speed of movement of the projection and more. Whether you want to use the projector to relax or create a party atmosphere, the configuration allows you to establish the ideal environment.
However, the projections of the nebula are disappointed by the accompanying laser stars. They are green, which ruins any sense of realism, although I appreciate, these can be activated or off independently of the main projections. We have found that it seems much more attractive with the laser off.
There is a built -in Bluetooth speaker, but as expected from a budget projector, it is not the best quality. It is quite quiet and lacks low or real substance, so you may want to avoid playing music through it. However, for environmental sounds or an audiobook, the trick should do.
Review of the Fliti Galaxy projector: functionality
- Body controls and remote control
- Has a sleep timer
- USB
You can control everything in the Fliti Galaxy projector with the remote control included (although you will have to supply your own AAA batteries). But, there are basic controls in the unit itself, so you can turn it on and turn it off and adjust the lights.
The Galaxy projector has USB energy, and must be connected at all times: there is no rechargeable battery here, so it must be placed near a power outlet when it is in use. With a built -in sleep timer, so if you want to use it to fall asleep, worrying that it is on all night, you can configure it to turn off after one or two hours.
Should you buy the Fliti Galaxy projector?
While we want the construction quality of the Fliti Star projector to be a little better, it cannot be denied that its projections are absolutely beautiful. It is unlikely that you find better projections at a cheaper price, and we could in its projected nebulas throughout the night. It is a pity that your laser stars are not a bit more effective, but in general, it is difficult to be too disappointed.
Of course, if you are looking for something more scientifically precise, it would be better to look elsewhere. We can recommend the Orzorz Galaxy Lite or the Flow of Homestar Sega Toys.
