Watch 2 NASA astronauts perform the 5th-ever all-female spacewalk today

Two NASA astronauts will carry out the fifth space walk in the history of history today (May 1), and you can see the live action.

Nichole Ayers and Anne McClain will go outside the International Space Station (ISS) at 8 am edt (1200 GMT), starting a space walk that is expected to last around 6.5 horses.

You can see the extrathicular activity (EVA) live here on Space.com, courtesy of NASA or directly through the agency. The coverage will begin at 6:30 AM EDT (1030 GMT).

Ayers and McClain “will relocate a communications antenna from the space station and install a assembly support before the installation of an additional set of solar matrices of implementation of the International Space Station, also called IROSA,” NASA officials wrote in a preview of space walking.
