Chicago Fire FC reveal representations for the $ 650 million stadiumThe Chicago Fire FC plans to start the construction in a new stadium of $ 650 million in 2026, with a projected opening date of 2028.

The Chicago Fire FC launched representations on Monday for the specific football stadium of $ 650 million financed by the club in the center of Chicago that is expected to open in 2028.

The project was first announced earlier this month and is part of the first phase of a 62 -acres master plan known as the 78, after relating Midwest’s vision to create the 78th Chicago neighborhood.

The construction is scheduled to begin at the beginning of 2026, with the stage of approximately 22,000 seats planned as the anchor of 78. The stadium will be fully financed by the owner and president of the FCC FC, Joe Mansueto, and will include views.

“I love this city and its architecture,” Mansueto said in a statement. “This stadium adds to the iconic Chicago horizon, so I want it to look timeless. It seems that it always belongs here, but with the modern innovations required for a world -class soccer club.”

Stage plans require 50 suites and a section of followers specially designed with space for approximately 2,000 fans in stands of bleachers.

“We are creating a strength for our team and a home for our fans,” said Dave Baldwin, president of Business Peers of Chicago Fire FC. “The outdoor stadium with grass game and intimate environment is intentional to give the team an advantage and bring our followers closer to the team they love.”
