Rangers recall INF/OF Ezequiel Duran

The Texas Rangers remembered the Ezequiz Public Services Man Duran Round Rock on Thursday, a day after gardener Kevin Pillar went out to the injured list.

Duran, 25, did not have a success in his first 15 appearances on the plate with the Rangers earlier this season before being sent after seven games. He found his swing in Round Rock, hitting .345 with an OPS of 1,063 and four home runs in 14 games.

Pilar, 36, went to the IL with inflammation of the lower back. It was the fields of the team’s opening center, but appeared in just two of the seven Rangers games before IL Movement was made.

Pillar is hitting .237 with two doubles and one RBI in 18 games. He is a .255 race batter with 114 homers and 469 races promoted in 1,232 games with 10 teams in 13 seasons. He spent his first more than six seasons with the blue joys of Toronto.
