
The Cincinnati Reds opted the reliever Alexis Díaz to Louisville on Friday and called the Luis Mey right of the Triple-A club.
Díaz has fought powerfully since his return from the list of injured, publishing an effectiveness of 12.00 without a decision in six appearances for Cincinnati this season.
With his team after a race on Wednesday, Díaz entered the first game of a double head with the cardinals of St. Louis and allowed three home runs in the ninth entrance, which led to a setback of 6-0. It allowed five races in four hits and a walk in an entrance.

Accredited with a launch that traveled more than 103 MPH earlier this season, Mey, 23, has a 1-1 record with an effectiveness of 4.00 with 10 strikeouts in 10 games in Louisville in 2025.
Mey is classified as no. 20 Prospect in the rich agricultural system of the Reds by MLB Pipeline.
