When most people ask what their “three big” are, they are likely to ask about their sun, moon and ascending signs. But when I ask him the same question, I’m not trying to determine his horoscope. Instead, I am curious to know how your headphones and the collection of headphones are seen.
After more than a decade working as a technology journalist, I am in the lucky position of having what most people would be too much technology in my home. I make a real effort to keep it to the minimum and try not to accumulate any superfluous device. But with the headphones, I have concluded that everyone needs at least three pairs. No matter how much I have tried, I can’t recover this number.

First, there are everyday headphones. These are the ones that can slide in your smallest bag or pocket and travel everywhere with you, on your trip, on your employment and on shopping trips.
Secondly, there are luxury headphones and ear. These should have that intoxicating combination of great noise cancellation, audio quality and battery life, combined with a level of comfort that means that it could easily use them during a long -distance travel day.
Finally, if you take the physical condition seriously, you need dedicated training headphones. Could you use any of the previous pairs to go in the long term? Of course, and many people do it. But for the sake of longevity and its sanity, having a pair of durable headphones and sweat proof that will not move can save their short -term sanity and save long -term money.
If you are trying to make a couple of headphones work on each scenario, you can feel frustrated that none can really offer the experience you want in all areas. This is where my theory comes into play. It really does not matter which headphones you choose for each of these purposes, but I think they are different categories with little crossover.
And what are my three big ones? They may not be the same as yours, but the thesis is the headphones without which I cannot live at this time.
My daily headphones: OnePlus Buds 3
The OnePlus Buds 3 are always in my pocket or in my bag.
I will do it in the hill that you should not spend more than $ 100 on your daily headphones: the child that you will accidentally and at some point, inevitably, you will lose. Both on the outbreaks it is reduced to personal preference on how they feel real when they are placed inside their ears.
Personally, I decided on OnePlus Buds 3, which are listed at $ 100. They are aesthetically pleasant in a pale blue that coincides with my preferred fashion color palette, and I think they are extremely comfortable. I have used them for a good six months and I have none of the usual inconveniences I have with the headphones, so I mean that they do not fall from my ears or have rare and random sound problems.
In a healthy sense, I enjoy the low heavy and I find the ANC to meet my needs as a frequent traveler in public transport. With 10 hours of battery, plus 44 additional in the case, these outbreaks have never disappointed me. They are not necessarily special, but I keep looking for them so that I have other options at my disposal.
My luxury headphones on the ear: Dali Io-8
The Dali Io-8 headphones are the most comfortable I have used.
At the other end of the spectrum, my favorite luxury headphones have transformed my longest travel days into periods of prolonged sound happiness. I carry the Dali Io-8 headphones through airports, on plane trips, until the end of my hotel. They also come with me on my daily walks of hot girl.
With 30 hours of battery and decent ANC, they allow me to move around the world in my own little bubble. Not only do the most luxurious and comfortable headphones that I have used, but also provide me a glorious sound.
You can change between two modes: Hi-Fi and Bass. I usually keep the first. It does not matter when he has immersed himself in an audiobook, crossing Paramore, spaceing Sigur Ros or losing once again in the depths of the Taylor Swift’s rear catalog, the delivery of $ 1,100 Dali Io-8s.
My training headphones: Beats Powerbeats Pro 2
Lilac Powerbeats Pro 2 is essential in operation.
There are no two ways about it: I have tried other training headphones and I still return to the rhythms. It is known to lose my running shoes and be in the middle of the door, then calling the whole race because I can find my Powerbeats.
I have been a fan from the first Powerbeats model, but the last Powerbeats Pro 2, with a price of $ 249, are my favorite training headphones so far. Once inside, they simultaneously feel stuck to my head with a tight seal in my ear, while they are so light and comfortable that I forget that they are there. This is an essential combination when exercising, since the last thing you want to do is deal with discomfort or discomfort that you can distract from your training.
The CNET resident audio expert, David Carnoy, described the Powerbeats Pro 2 and 8.8 of 10, pointing out the improved sound quality and the good noise stab. Like some of which are fans of this line, I have to agree and would go far from saying this more recent
