Home-invasion homicide in Woodland Hills leads to 3 arrests

Three men were arrested under suspicion of killing another man duration of an alleged robbery of home invasion at Woodland Hills, the Los Angeles Police Department announced on Sunday.

The officers responded to an emergency call shortly before Saturday morning in the 22200 block of La Osa street, near the Woodland Hills Elementary School, and found Aleksandre Fashionbadze, 47, with a head injury.

Fashionbadze was pronounced later dead on the scene, police said.

Homicide detectives then determined that the assailants entered the house of Fashionbadze, assaulted him, kept him captive and stole his property, according to a statement issued by LAPD.

On Saturday for the last time, the officers arrested three men their men to participate in the incident: Paata Kocashvili, 38; Zaza Otarashvili, 46, and Besiki Khutishvili, 52, according to the police statement. Each was reserved under suspicion of murder and is retained instead of a bail of $ 2 million, according to the prison records.

None of the men could be contacted to comment, and it is not clear if any of them had a lawyer.
